Fox Creek JSM Shiraz 2001

Tasting Notes

A generous wine on release, the years have been kind to the Fox Creek JSM Shiraz Cabernet 2001. Great complexity has developed with the dark berry and cherry characters now play a supporting role to up front peppery shiraz and smoky cedar.

As with the 2000 vintage this wine is now almost European in style so is a great food wine, perfect for Osso Bucco with some creamy mash.

To experience this wine at its best it must be decanted and allowed to rest for hour or so. Drink over the next 12 months.
