This complex cabernet comes from the cooler '02 vintage. After decanting it opens up to show the intense blackcurrant, blackberry and mint of its youth, the tannins have mellowed with 5 years of bottle age but are still present enough to give this classic cabernet superb length.

This wine still has great potential, so you could drink half now and give the other half a few more years in the cellar (although once you try it you may not be able to show that kind of restraint!)...
