Torbreck The Steading 2003 - 93/100 points
The 2003 Steading is an intriguing, complex blend of surprising elegance. It will provide plenty of pleasure over the next 5-7 years ... Robert Parker Jnr
David Powell's take on Chateauneuf du Pape, this GSM blend has generous blackcurrant and cherry fruit. Mushroom, forest floor and leather characters are developing as this wine ages. All supported by the finest of fine tannins, a great wine with food. Matthew at Cellar Link

The estate's flagship cuvee is the virtually perfect 2003 Run Rig. Elegant yet super-powerful, it is a tour de force in winemaking as well as a modern classic example of Barossa Shiraz. It should drink well for 20-25 years .... Robert Parker Jnr
The outstanding 2003 vintage certainly did not disappoint. Rich berry fruit flavours, long finish with big tannins - it doesn't get much better than this. A superb wine that is worthy of its reputation! Megan at Cellar Link
