Dark Crimson in colour, this wine consists of rich and opulent aromas such as raspberry, dark chocolate, toast and vanilla intertwined with liquorice and cherry liqueur. This wine displays a soft mouth-coating texture; the rich fruit flavours deliver across the palate displaying a medium to full bodied intensity. Generous, round and soft but with enough tannin grip.

Wine Advocate  The 2005 Shiraz 'Greenock Block' is opaque purple-colored with aromas of pain grille, black pepper, scorched earth, blueberry compote, and blackberry liqueur. Intense and layered, this full-bodied effort packs a punch. There are gobs of fruit and plenty of tannin under the surface. This unsubtle but powerful wine can be cellared for several years and will drink well through 2020. ..... read more
