Established in 1853, the history of Boll & Cie goes back for over 150 years. From the very beginning the house made a name for itself for the outstanding quality of its products.
The house of Boll & Cie today pursues its quest to produce the most excellent Champagnes and to bring these exceptional wines to connoisseurs around the world, albeit in limited amounts.
The Champagnes, produced in small quantities, are carefully crafted from selected wineyards in Oger, Le Mesnil sur Oger, Vindey and Montgueux, creating elegant, characterful wines.
Boll & Cie is particularly well known for its precious vintage blanc de blancs Champagne, wines made entirely from the Chardonnay grape, like the outstanding Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2010.
Grapes are harvested manually, only first press out of three is used for this wine. Vinification in steel tanks with malo-lactic fermentation; each terroir is vinified separately before blending.
