The wine is fresh on the nose with aromas of white flowers, flint and a hint of exotic spice. The palate is focussed, mouth-filling and long. Taut and gently fragrant now, the wine will steadily take on complexity and girth with age.
The fruit was whole bunch pressed and run to a mix of seasoned Allier and Vosges oak, and stainless steel for fermentation. Each parcel underwent a full malolactic fermentation and was aged on lees before blending and bottling in February 2019.
