Long slow cooked roasts of pork or lamb, rabbit, goulash and milder curries.

Professional Reviews

90/100
The Wine Advocate
The 2004 Grenache is a blend of primarily Grenache with small amounts of Mourvedre, Shiraz, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Fashioned from 35 and 60-year-old Grenache vines, it boasts a deep ruby/purple color as well as an explosive nose of kirsch liqueur, licorice, pepper, and spice box. This rich, opulent, hedonistic Grenache is a total turn-on.
WA, Robert Parker Jr. Issue: #161

88/100
Wine Spectator
Soft and velvety, offering a nice core of ripe berry, red cherry and dusky spice flavors, finishing gently and with some persistence.
WS, Harvey Steiman Issue: 2005
